TEMPEH SAUSAGE OR PATTIES

Ingredients
500 g tempeh, grated
3 tbsp vegetable oil with a small amount of sesame oil
1 tsp sage
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp white flour
Instructions
  1. Mix 2 tbsp oil with all other ingredients. Use balance of oil to brush onto unbaked tempeh patties
  2. Make 1 inch balls, place on oiled baking sheet and flatten balls ( use spatula or fork) to ½ inch thickness
  3. Brush with remaining oil, then bake in 400 degree F for 5 minutes or until golden brown on bottom side, flip over patties and bake for another 5 minutes.

SWEET MARINATED TEMPEH

Ingredients
1 onion
3 cloves garlic
1 tsp Coriander powder
2 tbsp Brown sugar
1 tsp of Vinegar or Lemon Juice
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 cups of water
Instructions
  1. Mix everything in a blender
  2. Boil the blended spices with 2 cups of water
  3. Add sliced tempeh and simmer for 30 minutes
  4. Pan fry or grill the tempeh

FRIED TEMPEH

Ingredients
2 cloves of Garlic
Salt as desired and water to marinate the tempeh slices
Instructions
  1. Mix crushed garlic, salt and water.
  2. Marinate the tempeh slices for about 10 minutes
  3. Deep fry or pan fry until crispy and golden brown.
